Lottery Stocking Announcement

The unfortunate overselling incident with Avery has been resolved, and should not happen again. However, for this stocking, and perhaps for future stockings, I will be offering the carriers as a lottery. The carriers will be available for viewing in advance on my Hyena Cart and you may enter your name to have a chance at purchasing the item. At 8 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, April 2, a lottery winner will be randomly chosen from the entrants. You may place your name on all of the carriers if you wish, however, in the unlikely chance you win more than one, you will only be able to purchase one, and the other entrants will have a random chance at the other.

Hummingbird is appliqued on a field of beautiful flowers. Pink, lilac, yellow and green against a periwinkle background. Floral fabric is pieced onto orchid cotton sateen. Decorative stitches on seams in variegated thread. Hood reverses to sateen, body reverses to strap fabric. Flower applique on wheat brushed canvas straps. Straps are approximately 80 inches long.

Brilliant floral print in plums, rusts, greens and browns. Hood matches print when down, reverses to spring green baby cord. Body also reverses to baby cord. Straps are hand-dyed plumberry brushed canvas and feature intricate butterfly applique. Straps are approximately 80 inches.

This mei tai was created as a "mea culpa" for the overselling incident with Avery. It features the same fabrics and straps as Avery. Bouquet toss and flower girl pieced on coral baby cord. Flower applique on hood, reversing to flower girl fabric. Body reverses to wheat brushed canvas. Decorative stitches on seams. Hearts are appliqued on wheat brushed canvas straps. Straps are 4.25" wide and lightly padded - approx. 80" long.


Mamas who were affected by the oversell are welcome to participate in a lottery drawing for Addy. Of course, no obligation. Drawing will take place on Friday, March 21 at 12 Noon EDT. I will immediately contact the winner who will then be able to pay for the carrier.

First, I just want to say "thank you" to everyone who has been so enthusiastic and complimentary of my carrier designs. It gives me so much joy to learn that you find my carriers beautiful and comfortable. And thanks to all of my lovely friends who have been so kind to send me notes of congratulations and best wishes. Your support means so much to me.

I've been busy sewing and coming up with new Oliviabolivia Mei Tais to stock in my Hyena Cart. I have finished two and I hope to complete at least one, possibly two, more in the next few days. I am planning to stock on Monday, March 10, beginning at 10 p.m. (Eastern Time Zone). Same as last time, I will stagger each carrier in 10-minute increments. Below are previews of what's to come.
